    International Conference on Gender Studies:

    “Que(e)rying Gender”

    5 September 2020 – Oriel College, University of Oxford

    organised by

    London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research

    The conference seeks to explore the past and current status of gender identity around the world, to examine the ways in which society is shaped by gender and to situate gender in relation to the full scope of human affairs.

    Papers are invited on topics related, but not limited, to:

    gender equality

    gender and human rights

    gender and education

    gender and leadership

    gender and health

    gender and sexuality

    gender and religion

    gender and literature

    gender and politics

    The conference is addressed to academics, researchers and professionals with a particular interest related to the conference topic. We invite proposals from various disciplines including history, sociology, political studies, anthropology, culture studies, literature, etc.

    Proposals up to 250 words and a brief biographical note should be sent by 20 June 2020 to: genderstudiesatlcir.co.uk. Download Paper proposal form. Online participation is available.
