    About EWB2009 http://ewb2009.hct.ac.ae

Education Without Borders is a biennial international student conference that creates networks across cultures in order to understand, and generate solutions for, some of the world's greatest challenges. The conference achieves this end by engaging the world's most innovative students and leaders in the business, technology, education and humanitarian sector in a collaborative forum that culminates in a commitment to action.

Delegates to EWB 2009 will experience:

    • An event that will change how we think about our world

    • The power of networking with more than 800 like-minded students and pre-eminent leaders from around the globe

    • A clear view of the latest developments in technology, education and sustainable development

    • The ability to listen to, and speak with, some of the world's leading experts

    • The opportunity to enter lively debates and engage in discussions with facilitators who engage you outside the box

    Philosophy

Education Without Borders transcends the notion of a typical three day conference in that it creates a framework that serves our world long after the event's completion. By building and supporting networks of young leaders and entrepreneurs around the globe, Education Without Borders transforms its gathering of delegates into a community of collaborative innovators whose impact is multiplied for years after the participants return to their home countries.
