the Workshop on InformationTechnology (WIT 2012), a part of the 9th FSKD conference to be jointlyheld from 29-31 May 2012, in Chongqing, China. Topics of WIT 2012include (but are not limited to): Communications and Networking,Automation and Control, Software Engineering, Information Security,etc.. The submission deadline is 9 January 2012.Renowned as the Mountain City, Chongqing is a magnet for visitors fromhome and abroad for its cultural heritage and numerous attractions.There are many karst caves, hot springs, and gorges in the area. Majortourist spots in and near Chongqing include Dazu Grottoes (rock carvingsbegan in the Tang Dynasty 650 A.D.), Three Gorges, Jinyun MountainNatural Reserve, Hongya Cave, Shibaozhai, Wulong Karst, etc..All papers in the conference proceedings will be indexed by both EICompendex and ISTP as with the past FSKD conferences. Extended versionsof selected best papers will appear in an FSKD special issue ofComputers & Mathematics with Applications, an SCI-indexed journal. Theconference is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and SystemsSociety.
