This conference is trying to establish itself as a key event for the understanding of threats and risks to information systems, the development of a strong security culture, and incident investigation. Please consider submitting to this conference. We are interested in the entire range of concepts from theory to practice, including case studies, works-in-progress, and conceptual explorations.Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers by the deadline for publication in the ICFRMWP 2017 Conference Proceedings and for presentation(s) in the symposia listed below. Deadlines will be strictly matched and late papers will be summarily rejected. The conference welcomes papers on the following (but not limited to) research topics.Flood managementFlood warningFlood responseFlood risk adaptationFlood protection – products and processesFlood impact on healthFlood risk modellingFlood forecastingFlood vulnerabilityUrban flood modellingFlood risk assessment and recoveryStorm surge modellingEnvironment assessmentClimate change impactSocio and economic impactInnovative approachesFlood case studiesEmergency preparednessCritical infrastructureFlood damage assessmentProbability of floods and stormsClimate changePerformance and behaviour of flood defencesHazard analysis and modellingPhysical, economic and environmental consequencesLossoflife estimation and modellingCritical infrastructure and cascading impactsVulnerability and societal resilienceRisk perception and communicationHazard and risk mappingRisk evaluation and assessmentLongterm protection and prevention measuresNon-structural measures and instrumentsManagement and maintenance of infrastructurePublic education and engagementLearning from past eventsDisaster management and recoveryForecasting and warningEvacuation and emergency management planningPolicy appraisal, investment planning and decision making toolsAdaptation to long term changeResidual risk and insuranceEU Floods Directive and international basinsEthics, equity and social responsibilityMonitoring, modelling and forecastingFreshwater qualityMarine water qualityGroundwater and aquifer issuesWater managementRemediationAgricultural contaminationWastewater treatment and managementOffshore pollution and oil spillsMining and water qualitySoil erosion and water pollutionEmerging technologiesHealth risk studiesMicropollution and nanoparticlesMicrobiological aspectsRisk assessmentsSocioeconomicpolitical consequencesEducation and trainingPopulation and climate changeFuture trends in water pollutionEmerging approaches for water waste managementWater pollutionWater resources integrated managementWater resources sustainable developmentWater resources and Environmental Management in Mega deltasGIS and remote sensing applicationsImpacts of global and regional climate changeInstrumentation and measurementWatershed assessment and monitoringWater quality and protectionTrans-boundary Water Conflict and cooperation IssuesArtificial recharge and active management of aquifersGroundwater contamination and protectionIntegrated coastal aquifer managementWater distribution systems analysisWater Demand/ Forecasting Water management, control and regulationErosion, scour and sediment transportMaintenance and rehabilitation of hydraulic structuresInformation Technology (IT) applications in Water InfrastructureHydraulic monitoring, modeling and simulationWastewater reuseDesalinationIndustrial water treatmentSanitary drainage treatmentComputer applications in water treatmentPurification plants and networksEnvironmental impact assessmentEnergy use and efficiencyIrrigation and drainage technologiesAgricultural water pollutionCrop water consumptionDesertificationVirtual water useEnergy consumption
