ITST conference was founded by the National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT, Japan) in 2000 as one of the first forums dedicated to intelligent transport systems. During the last fifteen years, ITST became the trademark of newest ideas and latest research results from the leading industrial entities and scientific institutions in the area of transport communications.

Former editions of ITST were organized in Japan (in 2000, 2001 and

    2010), Korea (2002), Singapore (2004), France (2005, 2007 and 2009), China (2006), Thailand (2008), Russia (2011), Taiwan (2012), Finland (2013), and Denmark (2015).

ITST 2017 is aimed to be a forum for presentations and discussions of important ITS issues for researchers from both academia and industry.

The topics cover, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

    - Analytical and simulation modeling,

    - Cooperative Systems applications,

    - Design of transport systems and development of urban infrastructures,

    - Electric vehicle to Grid communication,

    - Electromagnetic compatibility,

    - Green cities,

    - Green ITS technology (cooperative technology, agent communication technology green ICT technology on ITS),

    - Highly automated and autonomous driving,

    - Human-machine interfaces,

    - Intra-vehicle communications,

    - ITS applications/services (road, maritime, fluvial, railway,

    public transport, air),

    - ITS communication architectures,

    - Management of the transport systems, infrastructures and urban

    structures,

    - Mobile IP and Network Mobility in IPv6,

    - Mobility models and vehicular traffic models,

    - Multimedia broadcasting technologies,

    - Naming/addressing (IPv6 addressing scheme and mobility),

    - Policy, social and institutional ITS issues,

    - Protocol conformance testing, interoperability testing and quality assessment,

    - Protocol security in ITS communications,

    - Risk management for safety services (system dependability,

    reliability, security),

    - Smart cities,

    - Smart planet,

    - Sustainable urban environment and mobility,

    - Testing, verification and diagnosis of ITS components and systems,

    - Transport and urban development,

    - Vehicular ad-hoc networks - VANETs

The total length of a paper should not exceed 7 pages formatted

according to the IEEE two-column conference template.

The Best Paper Award will be given.

    Important dates:

    - Paper submission deadline: December 10, 2016
