Call For Papers - CFP
The proposed workshop focuses on the usage of Computational Intelligence techniques in SoftwareEngineering problems, where they can offer beneficial results. The aim of the workshop is tohost research papers that present practical solutions in emerging Software Engineering issuesthat employ Computational Intelligence techniques. Particularly the workshop is related with research and development advances in the field ofSoftware Engineering and more specific the study, analysis, design, modeling, implementation and application of Computational Intelligence techniques that attempt to tackle significant SoftwareEngineering problems. The topics of interest can have theoretical and practical importance andespecially research papers of emerging and innovative ideas are promoted through this workshop. The term of nature-inspired Computational Intelligence methodologies is introduced in addressingconvoluted problems of the real world and applications that traditional methodologies and approachesfind highly complex and difficult to tackle. Particularly, techniques such as Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks,Evolutionary Computing, Swarm intelligence, Artificial Immune Systems, Dempster-Shafer theory, Chaostheory and Multi-valued logic, linked to reasoning and decision making, may be applied in real world situations and serve the Software Engineering community. The integration of Software Engineering with Computational Intelligence is very important to both academiaand industry. In fact software development teams introduce a variety of conceptual and algorithmic practicescombined with Computational Intelligence methods into various areas of Software Engineering, such as Project management, Risk Analysis, Testing, Cost estimation, Failure Modeling, etc. ComputationalIntelligence also provides the means for more precise measurement of software metrics and handlingthe uncertainty or fuzziness of information. The workshop welcomes research papers with direct impact or high dependence on practical issuesfaced in real-world situations. Industrial/market-oriented research papers are also highly encouraged. To this end the program committee, apart form academics, hosts people from the industry as well, whowill be called to assist the review process in cases of highly correlated research papers with the industryor market. In particular the topics of the workshop include but are not limited to the following:Clustering and ClassificationDecision SupportMachine LearningData MiningText Mining & RetrievalFuzzy LogicProbabilistic ReasoningModel LearningExpert SystemsNeural NetworksEvolutionary AlgorithmsRanking AlgorithmsCognitive ProcessesEvolutionary ComputationsSwarm intelligenceArtificial Immune SystemsDempster-Shafer theoryChaos theory Multi-valued logicRequirements EngineeringSoftware ArchitecturesSoftware MethodologiesSoftware DesignSoftware PerformanceSoftware Quality Modeling & AssessmentSoftware Reliability Modeling &ForecastingObject-OrientationSoftware MaintenanceSoftware Testing, Verification & ValidationSoftware MetricsSoftware ReuseSoftware Project ManagementOpen Source SoftwareAgile Software DevelopmentSoftware Repository ManagementSoftware Risk Analysis & ModelingConfiguration ManagementComponent-Based Software DevelopmentWorkshop Chairs:Andreas S.
