    Vehicular Communications are becoming an essential enabling technology to provided advanced safety features for vehicules on the the road.

    The International Workshop on Vehicular Communications for Cooperative Safety focuses on visionary, experimental, analytical, systems-related works on vehicular communications for cooperative safety.

    The authors are encouraged to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished research results, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the area.

    Accepted workshops papers will be published in the proceedings of ITST-2011 and IEEE Xplore and indexed in relevant databases. Papers must be submitted via EDAS in pdf format. The total length of a paper should not exceed 6 pages formatted according to the IEEE Template.

    Extended versions of the best papers of the workshop will be eligible to be recommended for publication in EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking: Special Issue on Network Routing and Communication Algorithm for Intelligent Transportation Systems.
