). ESLP 2011 Focus ESLP 2011 brings together research on embodied and situated language processing with trends in the cognitive sciences (emotion, synaesthesia, social cognition and language, and robotics / computational modeling). In doing so, ESLP 2011 hopes to improve our insights into research questions such as “How deeply is language processing embodied?”; “What can synaesthesia reveal about embodied language processing?”; “How do affective and social factors connect with language processing?”; “Which testable predictions for embodied language processing can we generate based on recent robotics and computational modeling approaches?” An overarching methodological focus is on bringing together findings from different methods that can contribute complementary insights, with the goal of refining existing accounts of embodiment and situatedness in language processing. Keywords: Accepted papers list.
