October 24-26, 2011Melbourne, AustraliaICA3PP-11 is the 11th in this series of conferences started in 1995 that are devoted to algorithms and architectures for parallel processing. ICA3PP is now recognized as the main regular event of the world that covers the many dimensions of parallel algorithms and architectures, encompassing fundamental theoretical approaches, practical experimental projects, and commercial components and systems. As applications of computing systems have permeated in every aspects of daily life, the power of computing system has become increasingly critical. This conference provides a forum for academics and practitioners from countries around the world to exchange ideas for improving the efficiency, performance, reliability, security and interoperability of computing systems and applications.ICA3PP-11 will be run in technical co-sponsorship (pending) with the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Scalable Computing.ICA3PP-11 will be held in Melbourne, Australia. Since 2002, Melbourne has been consistently ranked in the top three 'World's Most Liveable Cities' by The Economist.Topics of interest include, but not limited to:? and follow the link “Submit Your Paper”. Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Papers must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 15 pages (not necessarily in LNCS format), including tables, figures, references and appendixes, in single column and single spaced free style, with Portable Document Format (.pdf). Papers will be selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation assessed by at least three reviewers. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work. The publication will be Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (EI indexed). Selected best papers will be published in journal Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience (Wiley), SCI and EI indexed, IF=1.791, ERA Ranking=Tier A.Important Dates:Workshop Proposal: March 31, 2011 Submission Deadline: April 30, 2011 Authors Notification: June 15, 2011 Final Manuscript Due: August 5, 2011Committees:General ChairsAndrzej Goscinski, Deakin University, AustraliaPeter Brezany, University of Vienna, Austria Program ChairsYang Xiang, Deakin University, AustraliaAlfredo Cuzzocrea, ICAR-CNR & University of Calabria, Italy Michael Hobbs, Deakin University, Australia Steering Committee ChairsWanlei Zhou, Deakin University, AustraliaYi Pan, Georgia State University, USA Workshop ChairsWen Tao Zhu, Chinese Academy of Sciences, ChinaMuhammad Khurram Khan, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia Publicity ChairsAli Shahrabi, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK Haixin Duan, Tsinghua University, China Publication ChairsMeikang Qiu, University of Kentucky, USAProgram CommitteeBechini Alessio, University of Pisa, ItalyGiuseppe Amato, ISTI-CNR, ItalyCosimo Anglano, Universita del Piemonte Orientale, ItalyNovella Bartolini, Univ. of Rome La Sapienza, ItalyLadjel Bellatreche, ENSMA, FranceAteet Bhalla, NRI Institute of Information Science & Technology, IndiaAngelo Brayner, University of Fortaleza, BrazilMassimo Cafaro, University of Salento, ItalyJiannong Cao, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong KongAndre Carvalho, Universidade de Sao Paulo, BrasilTania Cerquitelli, Politecnico di Torino, ItalyRuay-Shiung Chang, National Dong Hwa University, TaiwanYue-Shan Chang, National Taipei University, TaiwanTzung-Shi Chen, National University of Tainan, TaiwanZizhong Chen, Colorado School of Mines, USACarmela Comito, University of Calabria, ItalyRaphaël Couturier, University of Franche Comte, FranceGennaro Della Vecchia, Gennaro Della Vecchia - ICAR-CNR, ItalyDer-Rong Din, National Changhua University of Education, TaiwanSusan Donohue, The College of New Jersey, USAShantanu Dutt, University of Illinois at Chicago, USATodd Eavis, Concordia University, CanadaGiuditta Franco, University of Verona, ItalyKarl Fuerlinger, University of California, USAJerry Gao, San Jose State University, USAJinzhu Gao, University of the Pacific, USAJose Daniel Garcia, University Carlos III of Madrid, SpainIrene Garrigos, University of Alicante, SpainAlex Gerbessiotis, New Jersey Institute of Technology, USAHarald Gjermundrod, University of Nicosia, CyprusHoucine Hassan, Univ.
