It is our pleasure to invite you to the Solstrand Fjordhotel in Os, Norway for the 2011 Meeting in Imaging and Cognitive Genetics.It is an exciting, pioneering and challenging time for this developing field. With new powerful and affordable genetic tools it is now possible to examine the whole human genome for imaging and cognitive traits in reasonably sized samples. In the years to come, scientists in these fields will need to come together to share tools and information to further develop new analysis techniques and merge studies to gain the sample sizes needed for powerful genetic studies.During this meeting we will facilitate transdisciplinary conversations between cognitive, imaging and genetic researchers, and will lay emphasis on discussions between participants and presenters.The meeting is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Os fjord, close to the city of Bergen.
