    Call for Papers

    The Second International Workshop on Pattern Recognition & Intelligence Computing (WPRIC 2011) will be held in Changsha, China, in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Frontier of Computer Science and Technology (FCST 2011). The motivation of this workshop is to introduce the recent progress of pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. You are invited to submit papers focusing on problems and new challenges of these topics. All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another conference or journal. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

    l Pattern Recognition

    l Intelligence Computing

    l Image Processing

    l Computer Vision

    l Machine Learning

    l Face and Gesture Analysis

    l Multimedia and Document Analysis

    l Statistical Methods

    l Classification Methods

    Publication

    All accepted papers from this workshop will be published by IEEE Computer Society in FCST-11 conference/workshop proceedings (indexed by EI Compendex and ISTP). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be invited for possible publication in special issues of prestige international journals indexed by SCI and EI (pending).

    Submission Instructions

    All submissions should be written in English with a maximum length of 6 pages (or 10 pages with the over length charge) in the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format. Submissions should be sent by email to Dr. Xiaoxin Guo (guoxxatjlu.edu.cn) and cc-emailed to the workshop organizers (WPRIC2011atgmail.com) with the subject "WPRIC 2011 WORKSHOP PAPER SUBMISSION+First Author".
