    The International Symposium and Exhibition on Geoinformation 2011 (ISG2011) is an annual event for professionals, researchers and practitioners to present their findings and views, exchange ideas, disseminate knowledge, share experiences and explain new directions and solutions pertaining to Geospatial Science, Technology and Applications.

    This year the ISPRS Commission II/5 (MultiDimensional GIS and Mobile Data Model) and Commission II/7 (Decision Support Problem and LBS) will be joining the ISG to set up a bigger stage for this premier and exciting event.

    THE THEME

    The theme for the 2011 event is "Seamless Innovative Geospatial Solutions". It reflects the importance of having a harmonised and universal access to seamless geospatial datasets, which can lead to the creation of seamless geoinformation policies and chaining of applications and services across all boundaries. The innovative geospatial solutions on a seamless platform would enhance productivity.

    DATE & VENUE

    The symposium will be held on 27-29 Sept 2011 at Shah Alam Convention Centre(SACC) , strategically located within commercial and industrial hub of Shah Alam , the capital city of the state of Selangor, with just fifty minutes drive to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and to Kuala Lumpur City Centre via the North Klang Valley Expressway.
