2011 International Workshop on Broadband MIMO Channel Measurement and Modeling (IWonCMM 2011) will be held in Beijing, China, June 27-28, 2011.

Recently, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) has been widely adopted by 4G standards, such as LTE-A and IMT-Advanced. In 2010 year, China has

announced its high-speed railway program, thus how to develop the reliable and high data rate communication system in such scenario becomes a challenge.

In 2010, China Mobile has conducted its 8x2 MIMO performance testing in lab scenario, where the MIMO channel emulators have been applied widely.

Since the channel modeling and its emulation plays key roles in system design, evaluation and network deployment, it has drawn lots of attentions

in terms of literature research, standardization and industry application. Therefore, topics of this workshop include channel measurement campaign,

channel parameters extracting and modeling, measurement data application and measurement equipment development, etc. We organize this workshop to

provide a platform to exchange views and summarize latest progress in the channel measurement and modeling issues across the world.

The topics of interest within the scope of this issue include (but are not limited to) the following:
