    The 1st International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering (ICACTE 2008) has been held successfully in Phuket, Thailand during Dec. 20-22, 2008. The 2nd International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering (ICACTE 2009) is sponsored and co-organized by Singapore Institute of Electronics, Ain Shams University, Cairo University and IACSIT, and will be held in Cairo, Egypt on 25 - 27 September 2009. The aim objective of ICACTE 2009 is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

    The conference proceedings will be published by ASME prior to the conference in Hard Copy Book, and distributed to all registered participants at the conference. All papers in the ICACTE 2009 will be indexed by the EI Compendex and ISI Proceeding (ISTP).
