AO North America is calling on orthopaedic trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spine and veterinary surgeons and researchers to submit abstracts for the 2012 Challenges in Fracture Care Across Disciplines scientific meeting, taking place February 23-25, 2012 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. In order to be considered, abstracts must be submitted before the designated deadline date. Submission categories and subcategories for abstract submissions include: ? Critical Bone and Cartilage Defects - Biologics - Bone Healing - Bone Tumors - Bone Growth Abnormalities (From Early Growth to the Elderly) ? Challenges in Fracture Management - Complications - Soft Tissue Management and Reconstruction - Malunions/Non-Unions - Infections ? Minimally Invasive Surgery - Rationale for MIO - New Techniques - Clinical Outcomes ? Comparative - Intraoperative Imaging ? Risks and Safety Issues ? Primary Fracture Treatment - Pre-Op Planning - Intraoperative Techniques All abstracts must be submitted electronically at www.connect2conferences.com/aona1/. Submissions will be expected to include title, purpose, study methodology, results, and conclusions and will be accepted until the July 24, 2011 (12:00 a.m. EST) deadline.
