The 7th ACM International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies (ACM CoNEXT), to be held in Tokyo, Japan, will continue as a forum for fostering scientific and technological exchanges between various international research communities in networking. Following the success of previous years, the main conference will be preceded with a one day Student Workshop. The ACM CoNEXT 2011 Student Workshop aims at providing a platform for graduate students in the areas of computer networks and data communication to divulge their ongoing research efforts, even if at an early stage. The venue also represents a unique opportunity for students to network with other young researchers as well as more experienced ones, receiving constructive feedback, guidance, tips, and learning about cutting-edge research problems being tackled by the student community.We invite submissions of abstracts of up to 2 pages from graduate students describing ongoing research work for potential presentation at the ACM CoNEXT 2011 Student Workshop. Research that addresses non-standard topics and controversial problems and approaches is of particular interest.
