    Call For Papers - CFP

In the recent time computational intelligence techniques and algorithms have been successfully adapted to solve a lot of problems in image processing and pattern recognition. Potentialities of the computational intelligence techniques and algorithms for pattern recognition are still evolving. Hence, we thought of organizing a special session on this topic during WICT2011.

Topics for the Special Session include, but are not limited to the following:

Computation Intelligence Techniques (Neural Network, Fuzzy logic, GA and other evolutionary techniques) for

    Image Noise Removal

    Image Restoration

    Image segmentation

    Image Classification

    Content-Based Information Retrieval

    Video indexing and retrieval

    Bio-medical imaging applications

    Emotion Recognition

Applications to 3D objects and Face Models

    Human gesture recognition

    Human face detection and tracking

Object recognition-3D sensing and depth measuring systems

    Robot intelligence.

Motion estimation from the moving image

    Intelligent compression of massive data

    Human-Computer Interaction

    Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original work on or before August 15, 2011 in PDF and MS word format. The page limit for a full-length paper is 6 pages. Short papers describing novel research visions, work-in-progress or less mature results are also welcome, with the limit of 4 pages. (Papers less than 4 pages will not be reviewed and may be rejected outright!)

All submissions should be in the IEEE 8.5 two-column format. Papers should contain up to 5 keywords. Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness, and will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers. For template Please visit the following web
