    Call For Papers - CFP

Overview : Problem solving is a mental process and is part of the larger problem process that includes problem finding, determining the root cause and resolution.

Considered the most complex of all intellectual functions, problem solving can be seen as a higher-order cognitive process that differentiates successful from unsuccessful people. As such it is a critically important competency in any organization and is a part of any test of Emotional Intelligence.

Organizations have ongoing challenges. Some see them as problems and others see them as opportunities. Problem makers look to blame others while problem solvers are solution focused and preserve the dignity of the people involved. Problem solvers know how to work collaboratively and are open to new ideas that can bring about permanent resolution of ongoing issues.

Why you should attend: Problem solving and decision making are essential skills for people at all levels of an organization. Most people are reasonably good problem solvers. But each has their own approach to problem solving. So, having a common language and strategies enables all employees to work together collaboratively and continuously deal with challenges effectively.
