    Call For Papers - CFP

Functional optical imaging is a highly interdisciplinary area bringing together biologists, chemists, physicists and engineers. FOI '11 will discuss new techniques for in vivo and in vitro imaging addressing high profile questions in the biomedical sciences such as cell signalling. These include super-resolution and approaches to maximise information content and novel electronics for label free imaging. Our conference on Functional Optical Imaging will take place on the 3rd and 4th December at 2011 at the University of Nottingham's China campus in Ningbo. It was felt opportune to hold the conference at the University of Nottingham's China Campus in Ningbo to acknowledge the increasingly important role of bio-imaging research in the Far East. We are fortunate to have attracted an extremely eminent range of speakers across many disciplines who will provide exciting visions of their own research which we expect to stimulate lively discussions leading to new research directions.

SPONSORED BY THE IEEE PHOTONICS SOCIETY.
