Call For Papers - CFP
Cloud computing assembles large networks of virtualized services: hardware resources (CPU, storage, and network) and software resources (e.g., databases, message queuing systems, monitoring systems, load-balancers). Cloud providers give organizations the option to deploy their application over a network of infinite resource pool with practically no capital investment and with modest operating cost proportional to the actual use. It is believed that the new wave of computing will be based on Cloud Computing. Considering the importance of Cloud Computing in the days to come, Computer Society of India, the largest body of IT professionals in the country is launching the conference series on Advances in Cloud Computing (ACC) to provide an international forum for researchers, professionals, and industrial practitioners to share their knowledge in the rapidly growing area of Cloud Computing. The first edition will be held in Bangalore in July 2012. The conference will have both Invited and Contributed papers on different aspects of Cloud Computing.Researchers are invited to submit full research papers to the ACC 2012 on topics of interests which include but not limited to:Approaches for Migrating Enterprise and Scientific Applications to CloudsApplication ArchitecturesResource OrchestrationApplication Workload ModelingApplication Auto-scaling ModelingScalable Models for Application Health MonitoringEnergy-efficiency Models for Provisioning Hardware ResourcesIndustrial and Experimental Infrastructure Enabling Hybrid EnvironmentsInnovative Scientific, Business, and Internet Service ApplicationsVirtualization of Hardware and Software ResourcesBrokering and OptimizationPerformance Comparison StudiesProgramming ModelsPricing ModelsSupport for Scalable and Elastic ServicesNew Parallel / Concurrent Programming ModelsSupport for Mobile Applications and Content Delivery NetworksData Security, Privacy, and JurisdictionAll papers must be submitted electronically and in PDF format.
