    Workshop on Social and Next Generation Converged TV Applications and Service

    Held as part of CCNC'10: 9-12 Jan. 2010 Las Vegas (www.ieee-ccnc.org/2010)

    Call for papers:

    TV is changing. YouTube, Facebook, Over The Top content... The past 2 years have offered exciting new choices for TV viewing. As more content migrates to the Internet, "personal" video is becoming the norm rather than the exception. At the same time, new forms of immediacy, cultural sharing and social awareness are being integrated into the TV experience. With the potential for internet and personal content, multiple delivery mechanisms, and mass customization, the interactive TV applications "sandbox" is expanding rapidly. This workshop will cover the fast changing interactive TV landscape and cover topics such as: architecture, social TV applications, usability studies, deployed systems, user interface, interactive and enhanced TV, and enabling technologies.
