The 2012 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy (PECon 2012) will be held in Malaysia between 2 to 5 December 2012. Papers of previous events has been indexed in IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science. PECon 2012 is organized to invite international delegates, to Kota Kinabalu to share their latest research findings besides getting to know Malaysia.The aim of this conference is to provide engineers and academia with the opportunity to share experiences in recent development, current practices and future trends in power and energy. It is hoped that this conference will provide a unique platform for discussing issues and developments in electrical power, power electronics, energy and its associated engineering fields. The event also hopes to provide a platform for establishing international relationships, the exchange of ideas and experiences amongst the many delegates.PECon 2012 is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics (PEL), Industrial Electronics (IE) and Industrial Applicatiions (IA) Joint Chapter together with the IEEE Malaysia Power & Energy (PE) Chapter. The conference program will feature tutorials, welcoming reception, keynote & plenary sessions, special sessions, tutorials, technical paper presentations, local visits and gala dinner.
