    The 2009 2nd International Conference on Machine Vision (ICMV 2009) will be held in Dubai, UAE during 28-30 December, 2009. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Machine Vision. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Machine Vision related techniques.

    All submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program.

    All the registered papers will be published into conference proceedings by Conference Publishing Service, and distributed at the conference. The proceedings will be included in the IEEE Xplore, and submitted to the INSPEC, Ei Compendex and Thomson ISI for indexing. A selection of the best papers will be invited for a special issue in a mainstream journal.

    ICMV 2009 includes also plenary invited presentations by experts from academia and industry.
