    Call For Papers - CFP

The International Centre for Industry Development and our partners in Sarawak welcomes you to WorldSTE 2013, the World Conference on Science and Technology Education. To be held on 29th September to 3rd October 2013, we have a huge programme in store, with exciting speakers converging in Borneo from throughout the world.

The theme of the conference, ‘Live Science, Love learning, Create Change’, addresses contemporary issues both students and teachers face within science education as we move into the second decade after the millennium.

"Live Science" - encourages children to view science as more than just a subject at school, adopting it as a future career prospect. The promotion of science education, building skills in engineering, energy and environmental sciences is a vital step toward Malaysia's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2020.

"Love Learning" - encompasses students embracing education as a necessary but fun part of their development, instead of an obligatory activity.

"Create Change" - deals with using science education at every level as a way of shifting the mindset on sustainability from merely 'talking about' best practices to 'undertaking' them, creating a generational change in attitudes toward sustainable living.

Join us in Borneo at ICASE 2013 as we cover cover a diverse range of topics, catering for science teachers around the globe. A provisional programme will be released soon. Register now for special early bird rates and follow us on Twitter and Facebook or sign up via email for regular updates.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Scott Campbell
