This conference is devoted to the exploration of the intersection of engineering, medicine, and health in general. The conference will focus on medical and engineering breakthroughs at the forefront of new models of care delivery from acute hospital based medicine to chronic and ambulatory care. Attention will be focused on diagnostics, lab-on-a-chip technology, networks and communications, remote sensing, informatics, and the challenge of global health.
