The 6th International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications (ISICA 2012) will be held on October 27-28, 2012, in Wuhan, China. ISICA 2012 will present current progress of theories and methodologies in the field of computational intelligence and their applications.

Sponsored by the China University of Geosciences (CUG), the International Symposium on Intelligence Computation and Applications has successfully held five times since 2005, and presented seven proceedings, including three volumes of Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer, one volume of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) by Springer and three books by China University of Geosciences Press. All papers included in the three volumes of LNCS have been indexed by both EI and ISTP, and the papers included in the one volume of CCIS and three books are indexed by ISTP. The upcoming ISICA 2012 proceedings covers, but not limited to the following topics:

    ? Intelligent computation

    ? Data mining

    ? Intelligent learning systems

? Artificial life, adaptive behavior, agents, and ant colony optimization

    ? Combinatorial & numerical optimization

? Evolutionary multi-objective and dynamic optimization

    ? Neural networks

    ? Fuzzy systems

    ? Bioinformatics & bioengineering

    ? Real-world applications

    ? Communications and computer networks
