    Workshop description

This international workshop aims to be a forum for an exchange of ideas, insights,

and experiences in different areas of parallel computing in which matrix algorithms

are employed. The workshop will bring together experts and practitioners from

diverse disciplines with a common interest in matrix computation..

Selected peer-review papers will be published in the special issues of Parallel Computing.

We are pleased to announce that

Prof. James Demmel (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science,

University of California at Berkeley, US),

Prof. Ahmed Sameh (Samuel D. Conte Professor of Computer Science,

    Purdue University, US),

Prof. George Biros (College of Computing Computational Science and Engineering,

Georgia Institute of Technology, US), and

Prof. Laura Grigori (INRIA Saclay-Ile de France, Laboratoire de Recherche en
