    The 2010 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA2010) will be held in Anchorage, Alaska, May 3 - 8, 2010. The theme of the conference is ”50 Years of Robotics,” reflecting on the amazing achievements of the field and the broad impact of robotics and automation research, development and education. Embraced by six mountain ranges and warmed by a maritime climate, Anchorage is alive year round with adventure, recreation, seasonal festivities, sporting events and more. Recognized as a four-time All-America City and surrounded by spectacular wilderness, Anchorage is an adventure waiting to happen!

    Contributed Papers

    Prospective authors should submit their papers electronically in PDF format through PaperPlaza. All papers will be subject to a rigorous review by the Conference Editorial Board. Six pages in the standard ICRA format are allowed for each paper, including figures. A maximum of two additional pages is permitted, subject to a page charge.

    Invited Sessions

    Invited sessions on new topics or innovative applications will be considered. These papers should be submitted through PaperPlaza, and will go through the regular review process. Each session will consist of five to six related papers. Prospective organizers should include a brief statement of purpose for the sessions as well as the abstracts of the papers to be included.

    Videos

    Videos of 1.5 to 3 minutes illustrating new and exciting results are sought for special video sessions. Videos should be submitted through PaperPlaza.

    Tutorials & Workshops

    Proposals for half-day or full-day tutorials and workshops should be submitted according to the instructions here. Prospective organizers should include: statement of objectives, intended audience, list of speakers, and list of topics.

    Exhibits

    There will be an exhibition site at the conference. Information for prospective exhibitors is available here.

    Important Dates

    Submission of contributions: September 15, 2009 (23:59:59 US Pacific time) - no extensions

    Notification of acceptance: January 7, 2010

    Final contributions: February 8, 2010
