The 2012 International Workshop on Ubiquitous Information Processing and Management (UIPM 2012) explores emerging interests and novel ideas in the areas of information processing and management, multimedia applications, cloud computing technologies, agent-based systems, and multimedia services in ubiquitous computing environments. The goal of UIPM 2012 is to provide a forum promoting new techniques and interdisciplinary researches.
