The 1st IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS) will be held April 13-18, 2013 in Beijing, China. This new conference will be held annually in China to provide an international forum for the presentation and exchange of the latest technical achievements and product information related to the physical layer aspects of the existing and emerging wireless systems, including but not limited to RFID, UWB, ZigBee, and Bluetooth. The conference will feature parallel session tracks, workshops and short courses, and a technology exhibition showcasing the latest wireless commercial products. Details on the process and requirements can be found at www.iws-ieee.org.Paper Submission InstructionsAuthors must submit a Summary (not more than 4 pages including figures) electronically using the www.iws-ieee.org web page by 22 September 2012. Authors can indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation format but the Technical Program Committee reserves the right regarding final presentation format decision. Please note that the official language of the conference is English and the only accepted file format is PDF.Submissions will be evaluated for originality, significance of the work, technical soundness, and interest to a wide audience. Authors will be notified by 7 November 2012. Final manuscripts of accepted papers (4 pages in length) must be received by 2 December 2012 to be included in the published Proceedings.Technology ExhibitionIWS 2013 features a major commercial exhibition of technologies and services for wireless development.
