IEEE Communications Society2009 International Communications Quality and Reliability (CQR) WorkshopThe program for the 2009 CQR Workshop follows the structure of previous years; three themed days outlined below but with a difference. The themed sessions will occupy the morning of each workshop day. Afternoon sessions will consist of a choice of two parallel streams. Firstly, there will be a Technical Program of presentations with an academic orientation. Second, and building on the positive feedback from last year, there will be facilitated panel discussions drawing from the experience of recognised industry practitioners and leaders.The IEEE CQR International Workshop is held annually with the purpose of bringing together industry and academic experts to present and discuss communications quality, reliability and security issues as they relate to real world issues. The output from the workshops adds to the community's body of knowledge and serves to inform, help form opinion, and to assist in the development of best practice and relevant standards. Continuing the tradition of this series of workshops, CQR 2009 will provide an international technical forum for experts from industry and academia to exchange ideas and present results of ongoing research in the areas listed below.
