    Call For Papers - CFP

In the past decade, computer graphics has come a long way from dull plastic-like shading and rendering methods to rendering techniques that produce images that is almost impossible to distinguish from real life images. This is evident in many motion pictures (movies) where it is almost impossible to tell which part of the movies are actually generated by computer graphics and which part are actually real images captured using conventional cameras.

However, images such as mentioned above are almost entirely rendered offline. Once the sequences of images are rendered as videos, it is not possible to interact with the generated virtual worlds.

Application such as Computer Games and Virtual Reality require that rendering be done in real time, since in such applications, the users can interact with the virtual worlds such as changing to different views, modifying properties (lighting, physical etc.), navigations etc. For that reason, such applications require real-time rendering techniques and algorithms.

With the ever demanding for quality and performance of such applications, the field of Real-Time Rendering or in general Real-Time Computer Graphics become very crucial.

Papers presenting original research with the theme of "Real Time Computer Graphics" are being sought. Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):

    Automated Level of Detail

    Dynamic Simplification

    Image-based & Video-based Rendering

    Subdivision Techniques

    Real-time Shadows & Lighting

    Real-time Ray Tracing

    Non-Photorealistic Rendering

    GPU-based Rendering

    Interaction Techniques

    Collision Detection

    Virtual Reality

    Computer Games

    Algorithm Optimisations

    Special Data Structures
