Call For Papers - CFP
Our knowledge-driven technology-mediated environment generates a huge amount of new information each year. Visual Analytics is a combination of automated analysis techniques (e.g. data mining, statistical analysis, compression and filtering), interactive visualizations, analytical reasoning and related disciplines to provide an effective platform for understanding, reasoning and supporting decision making. In other words, Visual Analytics can also be seen as an integral approach to decision making by combining interactive visualization, human-factors and data analysis. Therefore, it is particular suitable for the analysis of large information spaces.Papers on all aspects of visual analytics, visual data mining and interactive visualizations are solicited. Topics include, but are not limited to:Visual analytics of large data sets and networksVisual analytics of spatial, temporal, and spatio-temporal dataVisual analytics and visualization using large high-resolution displaysVisual representations and interaction techniquesVisual analytics of medical dataData management and transformationAnalytical reasoningCombining visual and automated methods of data analysisVisualization of data mining algorithms and outputsCollaborative visualization and miningEvaluation methods, applications and technology practice & experienceReviews and surveys of related literatureSubmission procedures: www.graphicslink.co.uk/cgiv2012/PAPERS.htmFurther information: www.graphicslink.co.uk/cgiv2012/Venue: www.graphicslink.co.uk/cgiv2012/VENUE.htmSubmission Portal: https://www.conftool.net/cgiv2012/
