The International Conference on Informatics and Computer Sciences (CICCI’ 2013) will be held in Havana, Cuba, from March 18th to 22nd, 2013, within the XV International Convention and Fair INFORMATICA 2013.The subjects of the conference include: Interoperability and Databases, Algorithms and Programming Paradigms, and Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition. The transversal theme of the conference is ¨Computational models for decision-making¨; the interest is to approach this subject from the topics of the conference. The acceptedworks will be digitally published in the memoirs of the Convention Informática2013 with ISBN record.It is pleasant to announce that additionally to this publication, the works that should be accepted in CICCI2013 will be able to choose to be published after the conference in:? A special edition of the journal ”Computación y Sistemas”, ISSN: 1405-5546, of Mexico, dedicated to” Automatic Learning and Pattern Recognition”.? A book of the series “Studies in Fuzziness and SoftComputing” of the publishing house Springer, in the subject” Computational models for decision-making and knowledge discovery”.In both cases the works that appear in CICCI2013, to be included in these publications, will be able to be extended by the authors and they will be submitted to the second process of review.
