SRS'12 provides an opportunity for students to interact with leaders from academia, industry and research agencies at the venue of 2012 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI'12), August 3-5, 2012, Chennai, India. It will be an excellent venue to learn about exciting research, and to exchange ideas. Moreover, it is a chance for networking and professional development.

The Symposium is open to undergraduate (B.E/B.Tech), master's (ME/M.Tech/MCA/MSc/MPhil/M.S) and doctoral students. Final year students are encouraged to submit extended abstracts based on their project works. Participants will present their original research, or creative activities through poster/oral presentations. There will be a number of invited speakers from industry and academia. Workshops and additional opportunities for round-table discussions will be organized to inform students about opportunities available in the field and to gain important perspectives on their careers.

ICACCI'12 is organized in association with National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany; Computer Society of India (CSI), The International Society for Computers and Their Applications, Inc. (ISCA), USA; International Neural Network Society (INNS), India Chapter; Indian Association for Medical Informatics (IAMI) etc... The conference will be held at RMK Engineering College, Chennai (Madras), India.

CALL FOR EXTENDED ABSTRACTS

To be considered for presentation as well as publication, prospective authors should submit a 4-8 page extended abstract of their research. All submissions must be in English and should be made via the online submission system at http://itekcms.com/srs12/. The deadline for submission of your extended abstract is Saturday, June 30, at 07:00PM IST.

Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. All accepted abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings with ISBN. Each article will be assigned Digital Object Identifier (DOI. At least one full paying author must register for the symposium before the indicated deadline. Participation certificates will be issued to all the presenters.
