8th International Conference of Modeling and Simulation (MOSIM'10)Evaluation and optimization of innovative production systems of goods and servicesMOSIM’10 is the 8th International Conference of Modeling and Simulation. It is organized by the LGIPM (Industrial Engineering and Production Laboratory of Metz) managed by Nidhal Rezg and the CEREP (Productics Research Center) managed by Anis Chelbi. It will take place from 10th till 12th May 2010 in Hammamet, Tunisia and is financially supported by the ENIM (National Engineers School of Metz), managed by Pierre Padilla, Honorary President of the organizing committee.MOSIM Conference is a major manifestation, with a national and international wise. It welcomes every two years, more than 250 researchers in the field of Modeling, Optimization and Simulation of the Systems. For the 2010 edition, conference guiding theme is ? Evaluation and optimization of innovative production systems of goods and services ?.Since its creation (see History), former MOSIM International Conference aimed to be a place where researchers, teachers and industrials could exchange and dialog. Conference topics and its application areas cover a large spectrum, but are not strictly limited. As MOSIM International Conference which wants to assure a link between theoretical and practical aspects of research, some industrial direct applications are submitted as well, with special acts.The goal of this scientific conference is to propose both theoretical as well as / or methodological papers, but to present practical cases where they are efficiently used.Hammamet, TunisiaMOSIM’10 will take place in Hammamet (Tunisia), a sightseeing city. Conference will take place at “Le Royal Yasmine Hammamet” hotel.City of the jasmine, orange trees and bougainvilleas, Hammamet is also known for its fine sand beaches and its hydrotherapy centers. Its medina is well protected with its still intact bulwarks, its alleys, its souk and 15th century’s Kasbah.Hammamet city is located at 65km from Tunis international airport and 90km from Monastir airport. Special taxis allow joining the conference site. “le Royal Hammamet” is a 5 star category hotel, with 266 rooms and conference rooms. Special fares have been negotiated with this hotel.
