    Descriptions

    As mobile technology advances, smart mobile devices are fully capable of serving as all-in-one computing devices and continue to become more and more a part of our daily lives. A typical smart mobile device contains various software and hardware components that can offer a lot of potential educational applications by integrating with modern technologies. The increasing popularity of smart mobile devices leads to changes of learning environment, patterns and performance. The workshop aims at serving as a meeting point for researchers, educationist and practitioners to discuss state-of-the-art and in-progress researches, exchange ideas and share experiences about technological and pedagogical innovations in education.

    Paper Submission and Publications

    Papers will be limited to 6 pages following Springer paper templates or author guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the exclusion of your paper from the proceedings. Please send your manuscript directly to the MLTA-SMD2013 Workshop mltasmd2013atgmail.com with a carbon copy to the Chair danytingtingatgmail.com. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings as one of Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE) series published by Springer (indexed by EI & SCOPUS). Distinguished papers accepted and presented in the workshop, after further revisions, will be published in the special issues of the following international journals:
