. We are pleased to invite you once again to participate in the premier annual event of The International Workshop on Personalization in Cloud and Service Computing (PCS 2013)Personalization and context-awareness researches in the area of service, grid and cloud computing are emerging as an important topic with the transformation of Internet and Web from traditional linking and sharing of computers and documents (i.e., "Web of Data") to current connecting of people and things (i.e., "Web of People", "Web of Things", and "Web of People and Thing"). Adopting Service-Oriented Computing as a basic paradigm, the Grid and Cloud Computing approach focuses on the virtualization and transparent provisioning of resources and software. Under such paradigm, information and service supply faces a number of new challenges. For example, how to smartly deal with large amounts of services based on users' personalized needs, how to handle personalized service composition in a dynamic environment, and how to customize business processes according to stakeholders' preferences. Personalization for processes and services in such a dynamic environment is one of the most exciting trends in Grid/Cloud Computing today that holds the potential to enrich user experiences and make our daily life more productive, convenient, and enjoyable. The topics of this symposium focus on all the aspects around personalized processes, services and data in the Service/Grid/Cloud Computing field, ranging from its theoretical foundations, support infrastructures, engineering approaches, to its applications and case studies.Following the success of previous PCS and PGSC workshops, PCS 2013 will continue to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas, developments, and experiences on the personalization issues of processes and services in the Service/Gird/Cloud Computing field.TOPICS OF INTERESTPCS 2013 welcomes papers that focus on novel solutions on the recent developments in the general areas of Web services/Service-Oriented Computing, Grid/Cloud Computing, Semantic Web, and Pervasive Computing. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:- User context modelling, retrieval, and management in personalized services- Ontologies and user context modelling for mobile services- Models and languages for formal specification of user context and policies - Visualization of personalization information- User context based semantic matching for mobile services composition- Software agents and context-aware personalized mobile services- Context-aware mobile services discovery- Security and privacy in context-aware mobile services development- Context awareness and mobile services standards- Social context acquisition, modelling and integration- Pilots and real-world applications- User experience of context-aware personalized mobile servicesIMPORTANT DATESDeadline of paper submission: 31 July, 2013Notification of acceptance: 18 August, 2013Accepted Paper camera ready: 10 September, 2013 Workshop Day: 13 October, 2013PAPER FORMAT & SUBMISSIONUnpublished papers reporting original research results and experience are solicited.
