ISMS CONFERENCE 2013 COPENHAGENThe Royal Danish Defence College (RDDC) is pleased to invite colleagues from the ISMS partner institutions as well as other researchers in military affairs to the annual ISMS conference 2013. The conference, the fifth in the history of the ISMS, will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark in the days 12- 14 November 2013. The overall theme of the conference is “Adapting to Change”, a reflection of the many challenges and opportunities which most, if not all, of us are facing these years. The conference venue is “DGI-byen”, a conference, sports and leisure center in the very heart of Copenhagen located a mere two-minute walk from the central train station (www.dgi-byen.com). The conference will be organised around the following nine working groups: War Studies, Military History, Military Technology, Leadership, Command and Control and Basic Competences, Law and Ethics, Security and Defence Policy and Strategy, Armed Forces and Society, Defence Management and Economics, and Military Education.Call for papersThe ISMS 2013 conference is calling for paper proposals covering relevant topics under the above mentioned working groups. Paper proposals including an abstract of maximum 300 words and a short CV of the presenter should be send to the email address isms2013
