This training on controlling water system quality in pharma manufacturing will review industry best practices, current regulations and Process Analytical Technology (PAT) concepts to help you ensure quality of water.

    Why Should You Attend:

The EMEA and FDA have issued guidance on quality of water for pharmaceutical use. Increased audits from regulators and clients leave no room for possible contamination and uncertainty. Water is one of the major commodities used by the pharmaceutical industry. It may be present as an excipient, or used for reconstitution of products, during synthesis, during production of the finished product or as a cleaning agent for rinsing vessels, equipment, primary packaging materials, etc.

This session will review industry best practices in controlling water quality. It will discuss technologies companies have developed, that have become widely used and provide an objective review of each system. An ongoing group dialogue will be provided on LinkedIn for all participants. The added value will be to continue this topic discussion and provide a platform for Q&A, best practices, and updated information from thought leaders and industry professionals brought right to your desk.

    Areas Covered in the Webinar:

    • Overview of best-in-class technology
    • Regulatory guidance including USP <1231>, USEPA, EMEA, FDA
    • Performance Qualified Disinfection
    • Benefits of UV technology against known microorganisms
    • Return on Investment (ROI)
    • Water quality group on LinkedIn

    Learning objectives:

Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be aware of available global industry guidance and practical applications. A link will also be provided to a discussion group for those who have completed this program. The limited time and fast pace of this delivery format are served best by an ongoing forum with those who share similar roles and interests
