The 2010 IEEE International Conference on Networking, Sensing andControl (ICNSC 2010) is very pleased to organize a Doctoral Consortiumfor Ph.D. students from all over the world. The objective of thisDoctoral Consortium is to provide an opportunity for Ph.D. studentsto discuss their dissertation research topics, research plans, andresearch methodologies with peers in the community, and use suchfeedbacks and suggestions to further guide their dissertation research.Furthermore, this Doctoral Consortium also provides a unique platformfor Ph.D. students to access the latest research development inthis field, and develop the networking with research community fortheir future career development.This Doctoral Consortium will take place in conjunction with the 2010ICNSC Chicago, U.S.A. The program will be on the second day of theconference (i.e., April 12, 2010). The organizing committee willselect a maximal of 15 Ph.D. students based on their submissions, andall selected students will have the opportunity to present theirresearch in a special session. Industry and academia experts willmonitor and conduct the session. Partial financial support will beavailable to selected students.Interested Ph.D. students must submit their abstracts before thedeadline. The organizing committee will review all submissions andselect students for this Doctoral Consortium. All research topicswithin the scope of the ICNSC 2010 conference are invited.The abstract should include the following information:1. A cover page including the student's name, affiliation, researchfield (be specific), year in the Ph.D. program, email and detailedcontact addresses;2. A description of your Ph.D. dissertation research, including thefollowing contents:(a) Research problem statement;(b) Significance and objectives;(c) Summary of the current state-of-the-art;(d) Proposed research methodology and plan;(e) Preliminary results;(f) Future plans.3. A detailed resume.All documents should be submitted as a single PDF file to the followingemail address: icnsc10
