    The 7th Pan-Hellenic Conference with International Participation “ICT in Education” (HCICTE 2010) is the official scientific conference of the Hellenic Association of ICT in Education (HAICTE) which aims to address the main issues of concern within ICT in Education and e-Learning. After its kick-off as “Informatics in Education” in Ioannina (1999), HCICTE 2010 has been held in various cities; Patras (2000), Rhodes (2002), Athens (2004), Thessaloniki (2006), and Limassol, Cyprus (2008). The Conference will be held in Korinthos, a Greek city with rich history, and will be organized by the Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of Peloponnese.

    The technical program will feature keynote talks, workshops and panels, in addition to presentations of refereed papers. All submissions, except invited talks, are subject to a blind refereeing process. Acceptance of any contribution will be primarily based on its originality, significance and quality. All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.

    Selected papers will be considered for publication to a special issue of Themes in Science and Technology Education Journal , ISSN 1791-3721.

    HCICTE 2010 covers technological, pedagogical, organizational, instructional, as well as policy aspects of ICT in Education and e-Learning. Special emphasis is given to applied research relevant to educational practice guided by the educational realities in schools, colleges, universities and informal learning organizations. In a more generic scope, the Conference aims to encompass broader issues determining ICT integration in practice, including learning and teaching, curriculum and instructional design, learning media and environments, teacher education and professional development, assessment and evaluation, etc.

    HCICTE 2010 aims to serve as a forum for academicians and researchers from around the world to present their current work. The Conference especially welcomes articles coming from the Greek Diaspora, as well as the Mediterranean countries.
