    Technology and innovation management has become one of the fastest growing fields in knowledge management. During the past decade, various theories and concepts have emerged at the moment when radical, disruptive and continuous innovations continue to appear. Insight studies for the novel technology and innovation management theories, concepts as well as the verifications and empirical studies will be very helpful no matter for scholars or managers. Thus, the special session aims to provide an opportunity for scholars to present their most up-to-date researches in the related fields on technology innovation management by introducing novel decision methods including MCDM, MODM, evolutional computation, etc.

    Topics of interests in the context of improving some aspect of decision making methods or frameworks in the related field of technology and innovation management including (but are not limited to):

    Decision making of innovation policy and innovation system configurations

    technology management strategy definitions

    Forecasting and foresight of diffusion and consumer behavior of innovations

    recommender systems etc

    Aggregate functions, ordered weighted averaging (OWA) and Intuitionistic fuzzy set system in decision making models
