International Symposium on Ballistics (ISB) sponsored by International Ballistic Committee is to provide a forum for the international experts and engineers working in the field of Ballistics to share their experience and publish their latest unique and innovative work. The symposium is held every 18 months. Since inauguration of the first symposium in the United States in 1974, 23 Symposiums have been held successfully. The Symposium has been regarded as the highest level academic forum in this field. The 25th ISB will be held in Beijing, China, on May 17-21, 2010. The symposium will be jointly organized by China Ordnance Society and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and it is the first time for Asian country to organize it.
