The International Conference on Emerging Trend in Management (ICETM) is an annual conference organized by the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU). The ICETM 2014 will comprise of a one day itinerary with various research tracks. This conference offers a platform to meet with peers and experts from around the globe. One of the main aims of the conference is to promote linkages among world-wide academic community having interests in the development of management discipline and its practices in the region regarding emerging trends. ICETM forum will catalyze understanding of the rising management challenges faced across the region and their provisioning through innovative and cutting edge management solutions in theory and practice. At the same time the conference will encourage a dialogue between theory and practice of management. Young researchers are encouraged to participate and share their research work with senior scholars in order to have valuable feedback. It is a platform through which contemporary and developing ideas on business, economic and social sciences are discussed where academics and researchers interact with the industry professionals. It is an excellent opportunity for researchers and professionals to network and discuss market changes and transformation which are shaping the market demographics.

Conference proceedings of ICETM 2014 are abstract only and peer reviewed. The extended version of selected papers will be published in Jinnah Business Review which is double blind peer review journal. The conference invites research in progress, academic papers, practitioner papers, student papers and review papers in any of the sub-disciplines of management including general management. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Those interested in presenting a paper at the conference are invited to submit their completed papers, in word document format, along with the names, addresses, affiliations, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of all co-authors by August 1st, 2014 to the conference chairs using the conference web site: http://www.jinnah.edu.pk/ICETM2014

The paper will be reviewed by the conference technical committee and authors will be notified with the decision by August 31st, 2014. All papers submitted should be original work, must not have been previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, either in journals or books. Papers should be submitted via conference website and should follow the requisite typing style guide. Please visit website for more details.

If somehow visiting MAJU, Islamabad, Pakistan is not possible; you can present your paper online. The details will be provided to interested presenters through email after receiving their request.

CONFERENCE VENUE:

The conference will be held on the campus of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Islamabad. MAJU is a chartered university and its programs are accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. MAJU offers higher education in various disciplines including business management, basic sciences, computer sciences, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. MAJU has always encouraged intellectual contribution by taking various initiatives to institutionalize research and knowledge generation. Faculty of Management and Social Sciences offers a MS and PhD degree in management which has achieved tremendous outcomes with students publishing in various refereed international journals. Faculty of Management and Social Sciences continues to establish stronger research linkages with academia around the globe.
