    Presentations will be 30 minutes in duration, including questions. Although this is a presentation only workshop, papers supporting the presentation are strongly encouraged. A workshop CD acting as the conference proceedings will be supplied to attendees containing all workshop presentations and associated papers.

    Proposals for presentations from national research and development programs across Europe are especially welcome. Program presentations could be as single overview presentations or complete sessions with a program overview followed by 2 or 3 technical presentations.

    Submissions for the European Reconfigurable Radio Technologies workshop are being processed by EDAS Conference Management System. If you have previously submitted a paper or abstract for other professional conferences, you probably already have an account on EDAS. If you do not have an account, create one at http://edas info/ using your email address and a password. Then, go to http://edas.info/8201 click the “Submit Paper” tab and submit your abstract or proposal -- be sure to select up to three “Topics” that would be appropriate for your submission. An acknowledgment of your submission will be sent from EDAS, and a notice regarding acceptance of your submission will be sent based on the schedule above.

    If your proposal is accepted, you will have the prestige of being chosen to present at this second annual event, and will receive a discount on the workshop fee, allowing you to fully participate in the workshop and network with partners, customers, and competitors.

    Proposals are due no later than 19 December 2009;

    Notifications of acceptance will be made by 29 January 2010.

    Presentations and associated papers are due for inclusion on the conference CD by 7 May 2009.

    Tero Solante, Principle SDR Officer, European Defence Agency

    Dr. Donald Steinbrecher, Chief Scientist, Navy Undersea Warfare Center

    Peter Olanders, Director at Ericsson and Chair of the ETSI Technical Committee on Reconfigurable Radio Systems

    Become an Exhibitor

    In addition to the main conference program, The SDR Forum will host a product and technology exhibition during an extended networking lunch on Thursday afternoon and during a reception on Thursday evening. This exhibition provides an outstanding opportunity to reach representatives at all levels of the wireless value chain. The ability for exhibitors to reach SDR Forum members, visitors and conference attendees is enhanced through inclusion on the workshop web site. A direct link will be established through the conference site to promote workshop exhibitors. This link will remain active

    for at least two months following the event.

    Attendees will also receive information on all participating exhibitors through the workshop program. This information will facilitate visits to the exhibits by highlighting participating organizations and will also be a useful take away resource for delegates following the conference.

    Organizations wishing to exhibit should contact Allan Margulies.

    Sponsor a Workshop

    The SDR Forum is also seeking a limited number of sponsors for this workshop. Sponsors will have their logo prominently displayed at the workshop and in all workshop materials, and will be recognized in all conference communications and press releases. Sponsors will also receive two complementary passes for the workshop. Organizations wishing to sponsor this workshop should contact Allan Margulies.
