The SM2ACD series continues a long tradition started in France in 1991. Subsequent workshops were organized in Spain (1994), Belgium (1996), Germany (1998), Portugal (2000), Romania (2002), Poland (2004), Italy (2006), and Germany (2008).

The 11th edition will be organized in Tunisia on October 5-6, 2010.

In addition, a pre-conference program and tutorial sessions will be offered on October 4.

Two tutorials will be presented by Prof. Alain Fabre (ENSEIRB/ Bordeaux-France) on Oct. 4:

* Cognitive and Encrypted Communications, State of the Art for Frequency-Agile Filters

* A New Approach to Fully Active Frequency-Agile Filters for telecommunications, Design and Validation Results for an Agile Bandpass in SiGe-BiCMOS

Topics of interest of SM2ACD 2010 include, but are not limited to:

? Recent advances in analog CAD with focus on symbolic and/or numerical analysis and modeling techniques, design tools and methodologies,

? Symbolic and numerical methods for analog, mixed-signal, RF, wireless, multi-domain (MEMS, nanoelectronic, optoelectronic, biological, etc.) circuits and systems analysis and design,

? Novel circuit design methodologies and design automation enabled by behavioral modelling and/or symbolic techniques (including modeling, simulation, and optimization of timing, reliability, and yield for A/MS circuits),

? Linear and nonlinear model reduction and computer-aided macromodeling,

? Optimization techniques applied to analog, RF and mixed circuits,

? High Level Synthesis Techniques,

? Graphs and Circuits & Systems Theory and Applications,

? Symbolic/numerical methods in innovative electrical/electronic engineering education.

-- A SPECIAL ISSUE consisting of the best presented papers will be published in the Analogue Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing International Journal.
