    Scope

Today’s Data-Center Networks (DCNs) employ expensive high-level networking equipments

in associated structures thatwere not originally designed to meet the increasing requirements

of the current large-scale DCNs' services. Limitations that vary between reliability, resource

utilization, and high costs are challenging. The era of Cloud Computing represents a promise

to overcome the aforementioned challenge, and provide for scalable services.

The computing platforms of such Cloud-Service DCNs consist of large number of commodity servers that, with

a theme of virtualization on top, can meet the reliability and performance of the expensive

high-level servers at only a fraction of the price.

Recently, the research in virtual DCNs started to evolve rapidly. Being virtual networks,

this opened the path for the concept of network migration. Indeed, virtual DCNs

can migrate from one physical location to another for many reasons starting

from power requirements to resource availability. Now, when considering the

idea of migration, many factors need to be taken into account in order to find

the appropriate place that satisfies the requirements of the migrating network

while not affecting the hosting ones.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to

    - Cloud-service data-center networks.

    - Theoretical analysis for data-center networks.

    - Physical data-center network migration.

    - Virtual Data-center networks.

    - Migrating cloud-service data-center network.

    - Optimal data-center networks' architecture.

    - Intra and Inter network traffic engineering in data-center networks.

    - Software Defined Networks and virtual networking devices.

    - Analysis of the cloud network systems.

    - Addressing and load-balancing in cloud-service data-center networks.

    Proceeding

All papers accepted for workshops will be included in the FNC-2016 proceedings, which will be published by Elsevier

Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series. The authors must follow Elsevier guidelines given in

FNC-2016 website. The number of pages for the workshop papers is limited to 6 pages.

Procedia Computer Sciences is hosted on www.Elsevier.com and on Elsevier content platform ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com),

and it will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and by Thomson Reuters'

    Conference Proceeding Citation Index.
