On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have great pleasure to inform you that the first of its kind MI World Symposium 2010 will be held in Beijing on 31 May ? 1 June 2010.
Organized by the MI Institute and Beijing Institute of Education, the MI World Symposium aims to create a platform for international MI experts and practitioners to share their knowledge and experience with educators and practitioners in Asia.
The 2010 MI World Symposium is the first of many to come. Our key note presenter for each day is Dr. Howard Gardner, who will speak about MI theory as well as his current work, Good Work. Presenters will represent MI practices in Singapore, China, the U.S., India, and Europe and will share MI applications in diverse contexts, including early childhood, elementary, and secondary education; vocational education, school management, curriculum design, and professional development. The two-day Symposia will address two strands: research and scholarship, and Multiple Intelligences in Practice.
For all international participants, Beijing is an exciting city to visit. More detailed information will be available on our website which will be updated periodically.
I shall look forward to personally welcoming you to the Symposium!
Yours Sincerely,
Julie Viens
