Call For Papers - CFP
In June 2010, Beijing will proudly host the International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition in China (IOGCEC). More than 3,000 technical professionals from around the globe are expected to attend. A flagship SPE event since 1982, the 2010 IOGCEC will be the 9th edition to be held in China.
IOGCEC is co-organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Chinese Petroleum Society (CPS). The collaboration between these two leading professional societies results in a comprehensive international oil and gas conference. As in the previous eight conferences, the event is conducted with the full cooperation and support of China’s national oil companies--China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China Petrochemical Corporation (SINOPEC) and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
The 2010 IOGCEC Executive Committee Chairman is Zhou Jiping, Vice President, China National Petroleum Corporation, and President, PetroChina Company Limited. The Technical Programme Co-Chairmen are Liu Zhenwu, Deputy Chief Technology Officer, China National Petroleum Corporation and Dato’ Wee Yiaw-Hin, Managing Director, Shell Malaysia Exploration & Production.
IOGCEC will feature more than 120 technical presentations during concurrent sessions. The conference agenda comprises special sessions presenting business related topics, panel sessions with industry, and technical leaders sharing their views on key trends and technical issues, and a range of social events.
